Description:
A nice clean original PO-8 for the advanced collector with the sear safety feature and unit marked "STAATS POLIZEI STERKRADE + the corresponding DISTRICT, - PRECINCT and rack#. It is without doubt - an extremely rare seldom seen police unit marking. It also has the factory modifications for the 'unpopular' magazine safety feature - the modified left grip and the hole drilled into the left side of the frame. As would be expected the magazine safety spring has been arsenal removed long ago. Excellent original modified grips – 1920 chamber date. All matching except the magazine. The Luger is clearly unit marked on front grip strap ( see pictures) and has a fine bore. About 90%+ original blue finish and very nice straw. – you judge from the pictures..
