Metal Condition: This military rifle has been refutbished, reblued but improperly stored and has rusted significantly at the butt plate, sling swivels, muzzle and bottom tang.
Wood Condition: The buttstock has been sanded & refinished however, the inspector cartouche "Samuel W. Porter 1892" is intact and some older deeper dents still show through.
Bore Condition: Bore is bright but, exhibits a couple of rust spots in the grooves near the muzzle
