Description:
This 1912 dated bolo knife by Springfield Armory is marked SA/FLAMING BOMB/1912 on the ricasso and is marked “US/8162" on the reverse. It features a 10" blade that has been lightly sharpened yet remains bright with some fine scattered spots of pinprick pitting and light marks along the edge. Grips are walnut and retain strong striations. Scabbard is acovered canvas body with leather tip marked “Brauer Bros 1918" It is quite clean with a drain hole in the tip and tight stitching
