Description:
Unmarked blue woven belt by Mills with 12 pockets; each designed to carry 5 rounds of 6mm Winchester Lee on a brass stripper clip. Belt is 61 1/2" in length. Each pocket has a black pebble grain leather flap. Each one shows crackling and crazing with one flap missing most of its finish. Two brass wire keepers and a single brass hanging hook and brass “C" closure. Belt shows some light fraying on the edges and the brass is tarnished, but this should clean if you choose. See American Military and Naval Belts 1812-1902/Dorsey page366. Rarely seen for sale.
