Description:
Serial #609965, .38 Special, 6” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome and desirable revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, barrel, and extractor, and matching assembly numbers on the yoke and frame with the metal retaining 92-95% of the original blued finish with some minor fading on the barrel, silvering at the muzzle, mild freckling along the rear of the frame, and a turn-ring on the cylinder. The hammer and trigger have vivid original color case-hardening remaining with some bright gray metal along the edges and bearing surfaces. The front sight blade is a period replacement, while the checkered walnut S&W medallion grips are in very good-fine shape with some minor handling marks and flattening of the points as well as some very small impact marks at the butt on both panels. This is a great looking M&P Target S&W in fine-near excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R
