I have owned this rifle for a number of years and fired it on a regular basis, it is a great shooter, very accurate and functions as it should. Manufactured in 1908 the rifle looks great with well over 90% blue on barrel and mag tube with muzzle wear and a few scattered light scratches. Receiver retains about 70% blue with bright high edges and belly from carry wear. The wood shows many minor dings and scratches with a little extra oil wiped. Also on the RT side of the buttstock there is a line where the finish has been taken off down to the wood, as can be seen in the photos. It is like someone was using some sort of cleaner and let a bead run down the stock. Lever and hammer show strong traces of case colors on sides. Sights are original.
