Description:
WW1 era Model 1912 Dismounted holster marked "Hoyt , 1918, JJM" under the flap. Brown leather dyed black. US stamped on flap. Leather is in very good supple condition with no cracking. This is the only model holster to have an extra brass finial on the hanger to keep the flap open when needing quick access to your sidearm. Reference: Pg 355-356 of "U.S. Military Holster and Related Accoutrements" By Edward Scott Meadows. A great Reference!
