Colt 1911 45 ACP. Engraved And Damascened Gold On Black Oxidized Steel. Mother Of Pearl Grips.
The Origins of this 1911 are not fully known. But the owner states this Pistol was given in partial payment to his father for the funeral of a World War I officer and veteran. The veteran's wife was unable to pay the full cash amount for the service.
  • The Very Unique Hand Engraving And Damascening of gold onto black oxidized steel is very beautiful and indicative of a Spanish or Middle Eastern craftsman.
  • No serial number is visible on the firearm. Possibly as a result of the Engraving process.
