Description:
Remington Rolling Block single shot Sporting rifle, 40-65 cal.. Restocked 26” octagon barrel and action, with case hardened frame and deluxe checkered semi-pistol grip stock. This gun is in overall very good condition showing traces of original blue finish remaining on the barrel. Marked "Remington & Sons, Ilion, N.Y.”. Very strong rifling and shows better than the photos, with crisp action. Fore stock is checkered with poured pewter nose cap. The butt stock shows amazingly beautiful graining. The lower tang shows a tang screw hole that s somewhat elongated. Front sight is a globe and the rear sight is modern replacement. This is an antique and can be shipped directly to you. Adult signature required.
