Description:
French or Russian Forrestry Sword with double row of teeth on top Crimean War (1853-1856 – England, France and Ottoman Empire vs Russia) Very unique; never saw one before, so sent photos to an expert. It’s a savage looking sword.  26 inch overall, 19-2/8 inch blade with double row of saw teeth like a shark on top.  (These were actually for sawing wood.) Brass handle looks exactly like French Napoleonic period infantry briquette, except this one has the saw tooth top.  I really like it.  Have gone back and forth about whether I even want to sell it. But need money.  Condition: Brass handle has a nice old very dark patina.  Blade is dark brown with some areas of light roughness, but mainly smooth.  No rust of major pitting.  Blade presents as smooth. $26.00 S&H.
