SOLD! I am offering a Mossberg Model 173B single shot .410 Gauge, 3” shell shotgun for sale. This shotgun is in overall very good condition. Action is crisp, and the bore is clean, early shotgun no longer being made. The 24” barrel is in good condition with only the slightest signs of wear. Muzzle is beautiful with a clean, bright, smooth bore. The bolt action and receiver show light signs of handling wear; no serious blue loss. One piece stock is beautiful in either beech or maple with a couple light scattered handling marks and a few minor scratches. Finger grip trigger guard. Gun functions properly; Bolt action works smoothly. This no-frills .410 gauge shotgun is strictly serviceable -- not a fancy display item. Could use a nice cleanup and lube job. Bore is clean and action works. Great in barn for those pesky vermin. The most likely manufacturing timeframe for this shotgun was from 1939 to 1940. Buyer pays shipping and insurance of $25.
