Description:
This is a Pre-War (aka First Generation) Colt Single Action Army Revolver with the desirable 4 3/4 inch barrel in .45 Long Colt caliber.  Serial number is 232985, manufactured in 1902 .  Overall condition is good with some very light surface pitting.   Bore very bright with no pitting, rifling is strong, lands and grooves are sharp.  It is fit with an old set of jigged bone grips, that have lots of old cowboy character.  The action is crisp, mechanically perfect and tight.   Barrel has the two line address and all markings are clear and easily readable. This gun has seen use but was well cared for. Screw are all clean and original.     This 114 year old gun has aged gracefully.  Most metal is antique grey patina and clean no visible rust.  Correct 2-line bbl address, very nice and readable as are all the markings.  Well-preserved firearm.
A great addition to any Old West Collection.
