Description:
An excellent condition Colt SAA made in 1897 with a SN 1734XX, and a 4 3/4" barrel with a very good bore with strong rifling and mild corrosion in the grooves. The exterior finish is soft grey with faint traces of blue in protected areas, like the cylinder flues.Gun locks up solid like a rock, and the left side of the barrel states: 45 Colt. Hammer is the correct type, and has matching numbers on the back strap, trigger guard, and frame. The Colt factory black hard rubber grips are about 95% and show almost no wear. No excuses for the finish on this fine gun, as all wear is typical of age and not abuse. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
