Description:
Serial #598172, .38 Special, 5” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1936 manufactured revolver that has retained 98-99% of the original blue finish with only a few hints of mild silvering at the muzzle and a very light turn-ring on the cylinder. The hammer and trigger are likewise in excellent shape without any noticeable fading or freckling. The checkered walnut, Colt medallion grips are in excellent condition and exhibit only traces of mild flattening to the points and scattered light handling marks and small surface blemishes. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is a simply superb example of a 1930s Official Police and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
