This original 1873 springfield is in above good condition, bore almost untouched. The wood is out standing with one tiny chip up by the block effect nothing ,easy fix, if you are a perfectionist. This comes with the original three piece cleaning rods in the butt. The original sight hood cover is still intact , most have been removed, all parts function smoothly, You just don't see them in this condition. The serial number is 175705 and a 5 pointed star. The U.S. MODEL 1873 on the trap door is clear, as is the U.S. SPRINGFIELD AND EAGLE ARE CLEAR.
