CIVIL WAR HARPERS FERRY U.S. MODEL 1842 PERCUSSION MUSKET DATED 1852. 42” smoothbore .69 cal. barrel with Harper’s Ferry proofs at the breech. Lock stamped “HARPER’S/FERRY/1852” and “EAGLE/US”. All original with the exception of the ramrod which is a good and correct reproduction age to look correct for the gun. Very good plus with good markings and nice deep metal patina. Good stock with nice patinated finish and a faint inspector’s cartouche. Lock in working order and good bore.
