ETIENNE. CIRCA 1800-05. 14” overall with 7 ½” octagon, sighted multi groove rifled .69 caliber barrel. St. Etienne proofed on left flat near breech and stamped with the maker’s last name on underside of barrel. Ornately steel mounts engraved with fancy floral and geometric motifs and with sea birds engraved on the butt cap and lock plate. Checkered walnut stock. Excellent overall with crisp metal. Some light spots of patina easily cleaned. Lock in working order. Excellent bore. Ramrod old but replaced. Battle of Trafalgar period pistol of excellent quality. SOLD Antique: Yes |
