Description:
Henry Deringer Pistol, this piece is circa 1830-32, it is all iron fitted which is correct for this early period gun. No original finish remaining but there is no major pitting overall. It is 7 1/2" overall with a 3 1/2" barrel, approximately .50 caliber with the correct early style ram rod. It is marked over over the breech and on the lock "DERINGER/PHILA".
?The escutcheons, forecap and thumb plate on the back strap are silver, it was fitted with deluxe burl walnut. It is in perfect mechanical condidtion. No "P" proof mark appear as that did not start until June of 1836. This early model is seldom seen for sale. Priced at $2,650.00. Free shipping in USA.
