This very obsure maker used his name circa 1855-1860 to capitolize on the real Deringer name. This piece is the finest example of his work that I have seen in my 60 years of collecting deringers. The piece is 5 1/2" overall with a 1 3/4" barrel, mounted with all German Silver fittings, the wood is excellent, sharp checkering.
