U.S. REMINGTON Model 03-A3 - C&R Eligible - 30-06 Caliber. Manufacturing Date - 1942. Date of Production - 5-43. 100% Correct Blued & Parkerized Parts. Original Finish on Metal Parts 99%. Stock Never Sanded - a few dings and bayonet marks on bottom of forend. Cartouches (Marks) Legible. Hard to Upgrade.
According to the Markings ("RA") this Rifle has been through a Raritan Arsenal Rebuild. The Stock exhibits an "FJA" (Frank J. Atwood) Original Remington Inspector's Mark. The Stock also retains the Original "P" Stock Proof Mark in a Circle. In addition the Stock also has Several of the Sub Inspection Marks on it in front of the bottom metal.
The Barrel is 24" long. The Bore is Excellent. The Barrel is Stamped on the Muzzle End with the "RA" (Remington Arms) Marking, the Flaming Bomb, and the Date 5-43.
