Description:
A Springfield Model 1903 that is in the 1,29XXXX serial number range. It is very safe to shoot and it has a very good barrel dated to 1929. The C Grip stock has a number of cartouches and marks, some of which were scrubbed off – like the rack numbers from the arms room. It is cut and set up with Unertl style target blocks. The rifle features a great trigger and somewhere along the way an armorer marked the top of the bolt handle with the SN of the action it was head spaced to. If you are looking for something to shoot in the NRA sniper matches, this would be a very good and original option for you to consider. NO case, box or papers with this one.
