Description:
This is a reproduction of the Tower Flintlock Light Dragoon Pistol. It appears to be very well made and is in near Mint Condition and unfired. The frizzen has never been sparked. Springs are very strong. Ramrod has the correct amount of tension without being loose or too tight. Lock is marked Tower with the Crown of King George over GR. Both lock and hammer have light border-line engraving. This came to us recently from a succession of 2 estates. We believe that is was probably made during the 1960's. Caliber is .65. The steel is still bright with just a few traces of oxidation. Wood is Excellent plus with nice brass regulation style furniture. This would make a great display for a small fraction of acquiring an original.
