It is .42 caliber. Marked on the lock plate and over the breech "DERINGER/PHILADEL'A". All wood is sound with most of the original varnish and nice checkering remaining. It has the "P" with sunburst on left side of breech, which also has 2 silver bands. All German silver fittings are original to the piece, and are nice engraved as usual. The hammer and lock plate and tang have the case color which has turned to a nice dark patina. The barrel has very fine salt & pepper pitting, that doesn't detract from the nice condition of the gun itself. Hard to find in this size and condition. Priced $3,650.00 and free shipping in USA.
