(SOLD PENDING FUNDS )An impossible to find model 99F (1950 to 1954) in 250-3000 caliber. These were the best of the 99s...This gun has seen considerable use, but not abuse, the bore is good, no finish on action and very light shallow pitting, lever shows a good deal of case color, barrel shows most of its blue..The wood is excellent, solid with no cracks or breaks..Shows a photograpy shadow on the butt stock, Stock is properly glass bedded and this rifle is incredibly accurate. Shoots one inch at 100 yards are better depending on the load. Shoots 80 to 90 gr. bullets best, but shoots flat base speer 100 gr. SPs and 117 gr. Hornady RN into very small groups. It shoots both Rem and Win. factory 100 gr. ammo in an inch at 100 yards.. A great hunter and with a reblue it would finish to like new.es with butt swivel studs and another is usted in the forend where the forend screw was and the thread is the same so you can use both the original screw or the swivel screw. I will leave the Weaver bases on the gun..Scope and rings not included.
This particular model in this caliber sells for $2000 to $2500 in 95 to 98% condition, this is an opertunity to get one of these great little rifles at a reasonable and shootablel price...Additional pictures to interested buyers...
