Description:
A terrific Colt 1860 Army revolver, SN 61XXX all matching including wedge nand arbor pin. The gun retains about 98% original Colt blue and has 95+%ncylinder scene. The gun has much case colors on the frame and loading lever and hammer. Also the bore is so crisp and tight that it may well be unfired. There are cartouches on both sides of the grip and subinspectors initials in all the necessary spots.The grips are walnut and not varnished but are superb. The initials "P M" are stamped on each side of the grips, probably a civil war officer who used the gun. The very best army I have ever seen...belongs in a case.
