I am reducing the size of my collection and am offering several fine examples of European guns. These guns were purchased by me while stationed in Germany.
This Heym 55 DBSS is a very fine example of German craftsmanship. LOP is 14.25 inches. 23 in Barrels. Weight is approx. 10 lbs with the Zeiss Scope. This Beautiful Double Rifle has very nice engraving on the side locks with Red Stag on the left side, Wild Boar on the right side. 9,3X74R is a great caliber for North American Big Game and is readily available. This is a gun safe gun which has only been fired a few times. I just have too many in my collection to be shooting most of them. Blueing is in excellant condition. The fine Turkisch Walnut Stock is free of dents and scratches. It has an oil finish which is very easy to take care of. There is a Zeiss Diavari-ZM 1,25-4X24 Scope with Duplex Reticle. Scope is also free of any defects. Very clear. Suhler Swing mounts make for quick detachment and always go back to zero. Very nice. There are double triggers with the front being a set trigger when pushed forward. There are NO importer’s markings anywhere on the gun.
Today's value is approximately $ 18.000. There are others on the internet but not many are nicer and most are considerably more expensive. This is truely a great value for a investment or just a beautiful gun to hunt with.
This is a fine example of a great double rifle. Heym is known the world over and is known for it's quality and accuracy. Heym makes barrels for many different makes of guns.
It will definately make some collector and shooter very happy.
