Description:
#4824 Winchester 1894 rifle, OBFMCB 30WCF, with a Fine+ bore (about a 8+ on a scale of 10), 45XXX serial range (1896), smooth tight solid action. The exterior retains 60% coverage of a 40% density original dulling blue on the frame, the barrel and magazine being 90% and 60% respectively. The magazine is about 60% coverage of a thin plum blue-brown patina. Fine markings with the correct early rear upper tang patent markings and scarce three leaf Express rear barrel sight, standard pinched blade front. VG wood with no mentionable deficits, just light nicks and dings. Overall, just a nice honest antique 112 year old Winchester in a VERY desirable caliber as being still available almost anywhere that ammunition is sold. Fine+. $1965
