Description:
A beautiful example of one of the finest 22 Hornets ever produced. Made in Czechoslovakia in 1949, this was the forerunner to modern day CZ rifles. However, these early BRNOs have that Old World fit and finish throughout, along with balance and handling qualities never surpassed by any other maker. This particular rifle is custom stocked in a gorgeous piece of figured walnut retaining the basic original lines and dimensions, with a sculpted shadow line cheek piece, beautiful satin finish, and superb checkering. The barrel is caliber stamped .22x36 Ho. The bore looks fine when viewed with the eye although a bore scope will reveal slight roughness and some diminished rifling the last several inches toward the muzzle. The Serial# is 06607. Double set trigger. Near mint condition on both wood and metal finishes with only the very slightest of any handling marks. Comes with one original magazine and the Dave Talley bases / rings shown.
