Description:
An original Krag 1896 Carbine. Rear Sight has been removed from barrel and receiver fitted with a receiver peep sight. Bore is very good to excellent with strong rifling. Stock is original including the blued trapdoor buttplate. A very handsome Krag carbine that someone customized to his own tastes. Would be excellent in the deer woods.....This is an antique made prior to 1898. No ffl or C&R required to purchase. Photos show condition.
