Quality Consignments Wanted. This carbine's barrel date is 2-44. The serial number is 5187780. This is a all Inland carbine. All the parts are correct for the timeline and production run. The only item that is not correct for the time period is the type three barrel band. The barrel band is Inland marked but added on several months latter during the war. This carbine shows service use and handling. The bore is bright with no frosting or pitting. The action operates smoothly. The stock has no cracks or splits and is Inland marked. This gun has not been refinished or reconditioned. The finish is all original. The original World War Two M 4 bayonet is made by Imperial. It has not been resharpened. The blade retains all of the original finish. The scabbard is also original issue for this bayonet. This is a nice Inland carbine for the collector as well as the shooter. Search for hlvfineguns.
