Description:
This is a pre-'64 Winchester Model 70 rifle in .270 Winchester. The serial number indicates manufacture in 1940. The action is in Excellent condition with very little wear. The barrel has a folding rear sight and a hooded front bead on a ramp. Condition is Excellent with a shiny bore. Bottom metal is also Excellent. The checkered walnut stock is Excellent with a steel butt plate.
