Description:

Adams Mark II Model 1867 revolver marked NWMP for Northwest Mounted Police. This exact revolver is pictured on page 10 of the Arms & Accoutrements of the Mounted Police by Donald J. Klancher. Klancher notes that the Mark II may have been private property of NWMP officers and that the NWMP mark was similar to non-regulation items stamped this way known to have belonged to members of the force. Excellent bore and action works perfectly. Gun has approximately 50% blue and the rest is a brown patina. Grips are good plus. Neat revolver pictured in the book. This is a rare item for collectors of Northwest Mounted Police revolvers.
