SOLD. SOLD. Browning 125th Anniversary High Wall Traditional Hunter in 45-70 caliber. There were only 500 of these rifles made to commemorate the first of John M. Brownings many firearms, the 1885 High Wall with falling block action. This rifle features a 28" octagon barrel, deeply blued receiver with scroll engraving and gold line borders and lettering, a checkered Schnabel forend, and a checkered straight grip English stock with a steel crescent butt plate. Wood is oil finished. Also has a gold plated adjustable trigger and rear tang aperture sight. I purchased this gun new in 2003 and it has been in my safe since then. It is in flawless condition and has the original paperwork, box and hang tags. Sale price includes shipping to lower 48.
