Rigby Takedown 98 Mauser .275 Rigby/ 7X57 Carbine. This rifle is very clean as restored, the action is very clean and the takedown is tight, all lined up perfectly, the barrel threads are clean, the scope is a Weaver K3 that is clear on a Griffin & Howe mount. The mount has blind screws, double lever, tight and locks in true, the bolt has proper clearance. There is a bolt mounted peep sight that is height adjustable, two folding rear barrel mounted sights, single trigger that has a nice break. The barrel is 20" with a good bore and chamber, some wear to the grooves, the lands are clean and the crown is good. The stock is a two piece with nice chequering and finish, 14 3/4" LOPto a metal plate, the rifle has really nice balance. 7lbs 10oz. 017981 $10500.00
