A fine Starr 1863 Percussion Carbine, .54 Caliber with an excellent bore. The cartouche is sharp on the left side of the buttstock. The barrel retains a good 95% original blue and sharp cae colors on the frame. SN 118xx. The barrel is marked Co. E, first Arkansas.These are quite rare and are hard to find.The stock is excellent and the barrel band and buttplate are nicely patinaed. Action crisp and tight.REDUCED!!!
