Description:
We custom-craft Ruger No.1, No.3, & M77 rifles into sleek and slender TROPHY RIFLES.

Our service for the No.1 consists of lowering the comb, slenderizing the buttstock, reshaping the forearm, adding a faux ebony tip, recheckering and refinishing with an all-weather satin "Hunter" finish. This completes the treatment of our Classic English Stalking Rifle.

For the No.3 we lower the comb and slenderize the buttstock. We also sculpt panels behind the receiver which not only adds a distinctive look, but also slims the wrist and removes the clubby feel of the stock. The forearm is resculpted and a genuine pewter cap is installed on the forearm tip after which we apply an all-weather satin "Hunter" finish. As an option to the pewter tip, we also offer the classic Sharps Schnable tip. This completes the treatment of our Classic American Saddle Rifle.

The cost for the standard No.1 and No.3 Trophy Rifle service is far less than custom stocking to achieve the same result. Custom work must be quoted according to the features requested by the customer.

We also custom-craft early Ruger M77s in the pattern of the pre-war sporter designs of Mauser, Adolph, and Wundhammer. This is the pattern that was favored by Col. Townsend Whelen as being the all-around best hunting rifle. The result is our Pre-war 77, a wonderfully slender, elegant and perfectly balanced hunting rifle. We will also provide the service to other quality bolt-action rifles.

Our service consists of lowering and thinning the comb, as well as resculpting and thinning the bulky Ruger stock into the slender and graceful pre-war design with receiver side-panels and the classic Schnable forearm. The stock is recheckered and refinished with a satin "Hunter" finish.

We have recently added our Faux Rigby pattern to our Pre-War 77 offerings. This model does not sport the German receiver panels nor the Schnable forearm tip. Instead the Rigby is slenderized, but wears a faux ebony tip reminiscent of the famous Rigby bolt action rifles.

In either configuration, the result is a CUSTOM TROPHY RIFLE that handles so wonderfully that you have to experience it to believe that removing just the right amount of wood - in just the right places - can make a rifle handle like a fine shotgun. It is a real joy to hunt with one of our rifles.

The cost for this service for the Pre-War 77 is more reasonable than the high cost of restocking.

We can also provide our services for other bolt rifles such as CZs, Remingtons, Winchesters, Mausers, or...?
We have recently completed a package for the CZ 550 series which includes our Faux Rigby treatment and "Africanising" the Safari and Safari Magnum rifles. Please call for more details and pricing for this service. We've provided a Before & After photo but that cannot convey the tremendous improvement in handling that results from our slenderizing the club that CZ calls a gun stock.

Other services include casecoloring of the receiver and grip cap, engraving, installation of period appropriate sights  Please visit our site which is listed on our business card photo or call 775-453-9355 for more information

EARLY RUGER M77 RSI .22-250

This is a rather rare Ruger M77 not only in the sense of the international styling, but also in the condition for its age and mostly the rare RSI calibre - .22-250 Remington.

Featuring a Tang Safety and barrel of 18 ½ inches, this Gunsafe Queen is in like-new condition all around with only a very few faint handling marks. It appears to be unfired, but probably has been shot a time or two. Ruger scope rings are included.

Please see our ad here at Guns International under Ruger M77. Additional close-up photos are available to serious inquiries.

Price: $1400

RUGER NO.1-A .30-06

We also have a No.1-A - showing some thinning on the blue on the lever, but has very pretty wood. This would be a good basis for one of our custom treatments or can be used as is with the standard factory-style stock. Photos are available to serious parties.

Price: $975

RUGER NO.1 BARRELS

We have 2 Ruger No.1-A barrels that were taken off of rifles. One is a 26-inch slender .240 Weatherby in good condition with good bore. The other is a .30-06 with perfect bore and an integral muzzle brake similar to our Discreet Muzzle Brake. It also has a minor "ding" in the barrel on the top side. Other than the ding, it's in great condition and ready to be re-fitted to your action.

Price:
.240 Weatherby - $75
.30-06 - $85
Price does not include shipping.
Photos available to serious buyers.

Other services such as engraving, casecoloring, restocking, and rebarreling to custom calibres are available.
