When Robert Ruark wrote "Use Enough Gun" I believe that he had the 378 Weatherby Magnum in mind.
I am the proud second owner of this fine German 378 Weatherby, I bought it from the original owner in Sun Valley Idaho, many years ago. That Gentleman told me that he had only fired it once! The sale came with the other 19 rounds in the Weatherby animal box Over the years I have fired most of remaining rounds in that box, yes from the standing position only.
She is all original, Weatherby bright bluing, number 3 contour 26 inch barrel, As you can see from the pictures beautiful dark walnut stock---too bad that they don't make them like this anymore--original recoil pad. I don't see any stock dings or imperfections in the stock.For a gun of this age I would say that it is as close to perfect as it gets.
