Description:
Purchased 2 70's 1911's from the original owner and both are claimed to be unfired since his purchases in 1975 and 1976. The condition of this gun is consistent with that story at worst this gun was test fired but I can't even see evidence of that. There is one small disassembly blemish near the slide stop otherwise 100% NIB condition. The original owner maintains that the box is the box he was given when her purchased the gun, it is period correct but the label serial number is off by a couple of thousand. Summed up standard 70 series government model 1911 .45 that appears to be unfired with a period correct box that bears a close but not matching serial number. either way will add nicely to your collection. The outter sleeve of the box has some tape reinforcement but it is complete. We will discount if both guns are purchased
