Description:
Duck grade 12 gauge, 30″ barrels, 3″ chambers. Chokes are marked IMP MOD/ FULL and measure .015 and .028. Full length matted rib with a single silver bead. Bores are bright and shiny. Single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Pistol grip stock is checkered in standard two point pattern and has a 13 5/8″ length of pull over an original Winchester pad. The beavertail forearm with roll type release is checkered in the standard diamond pattern. Excellent condition: The barrels retain 95% bluing with a few spots of minor freckling. The receiver, trigger guard and forend iron have been restored and retain 99% finish. The buttstock and forend have had varnish added, retain 99% finish with a few handling marks near the toe of the stock. Mechanics are excellent. Drop at comb: 1 1/2”, Drop at heel: 2 5/8”. Weight: 7.6 lbs. In 1953 Winchester changed this model name from Duck to Magnum. This is one of the last Duck grade guns.
