#4340, Holland & Holland, London: A Holland 338 Winchester Magnum Mauser Action Bolt Rifle Finished 1994, Full Length Mannlicher Style Stock 20" barrel with an island sight base with 1 standing & 1 folding rear sights, Front sight ramp, Spring locking fold-up sight protector, No sling eyes; All H&H serial numbers match on the magazine box, receiver, barrel, stock & scope rings, It has factory installed H&H single Lever Detachable scope mounts, 1 1/4 x 4 Schmidt & Bender 30 mm scope, Full adjustable Timney trigger, Belly magazine box with a straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release; It has a matted receiver ring, the rear scope base is matted on top, matted island sight & front ramp, London proved in 1994, Very nice engraving in a classic H&H floral pattern with a Grizzly on the floorplate; The receiver ring, bolt handle, muzzle cap & grip cap is engraved as well, It has a classic H&H stock with a shadowline cheekpiece, Engraved trap grip cap with a spare front sight, Wrap around point pattern checkering, Steel crossbolt at the recoil lug, 14" L.O.P. over a 1" pad, 8 lbs. 12 oz. without the scope & 10 lbs. with, The inletting inside is absolutely excellent, Fairly decent wood, The original blue remains at 99%, The stock finish is original & at 97% with light handling marks, The checkering remains at 100%, The bore is as new. This is a very nice English bolt rifle with excellent engraving.
