Colt Model 1908 "Vest Pocket" .25 A.C.P. With Original Box
Description: By its serial number, 386587, this Colt was produced in 1930. It comes with the original box serial numbered to this pistol in correct pencil on the bottom. The box contains the original instruction sheet in good condition. The box itself is in fair condition, and has been reinforced by a previous owner with scotch tape. The pistol appears to have been little used if at all, when I purchased the gun it still had ammunition in it from the 1930’s! The color cased finish on the trigger, grip safety and safety are very vivid. The color cased finish would rate a 95% + condition. The original blued finish would rate a 95% condition. A very fine pitting is starting in some of the finish. The original grips are in excellent condition. This pistol has the correct two tone magazine. The slide serial number matches the frame. This is an outstanding little Colt that is very collectable! This model Colt is almost never found with it's original box!
