Description:
The Dakota Model 76 is one of the most desirable hunting rifles in the world, proven on every continent, in every climate and on every type of game. Exemplifying the very best of bolt action innovation with exquisite lines and impeccable shot to shot precision, it has deservedly taken its place among the legendary rifles of the 20th and 21st centuries.
This African in the hard hitting 404 Dakota caliber features a XXX grade walnut stock with a shadow line Monte Carlo cheekpiece, an ebony forend tip and ebony plugged stock cross bolts. The stock is satin finished, has a metal grip cap and a Pachmayr recoil pad yielding a 14.25” length of pull. Sitting atop the 24” barrel is a single blade island rear sight mated with a banded, hooded front fiber optic sight. The barrel band and inletted rear swivel studs make installing a sling easy. A straddle floorplate with inside release and a drop belly magazine compliment this fine rifle. The metal has a polished blued finish. Weight is 8.7 lbs.
