Description:
This is a specialty target gun. I believe the correct terminology would be the "Modern Range No. 47 Single Shot". This was built on the 44-1/2 action. This baby has all the bells and whistles. Part oct bbl with the remainder being round. Globe front sight. A very nice adjustable aperture tang sight with a patent date of 1887. I don't know if I have ever seen one quite the same as this sight. Other special features include a Swiss buttplate, target style stock with an exaggerated perch belly and high comb, case color receiver and lever and a double set trigger which is functional. Cal 22 LR with a near perfect bore. This gun just screams condition condition.
