Description:
Ready to shot .22 rimfire. This Smith & Wesson Model One Revolvers that date to the beginning of the Civil War. Many of these early guns were purchased by civilians and soldiers alike. Being the first cartridge revolver to be manufactured in the United States and protected by the Rollin White patent, these little seven-shot revolvers proved to be reliable and easy to load. With the advent of fixed ammunition, another great benefit was that they were practically waterproof. This one displays most of its original silver plate on its brass frame and many traces of its original blue on the barrel. The bore is shinny bright and rose wood grips show no cracks or chips with 90% original varnish. Action works as it should and locks firmly into battery. The perfect 7 shot gamblers hide out gun. This is an ANTIQUE and can be shipped directly to you. Sold as an Antique ~ no guarantees, warranties, or liabilities for any actual usage.
