This is a Merkel 200E boxlock over and under barreled shotgun in 12 gauge, with 28" barrels and ejectors.Condition: Metal is very good with minimal handling marks and no heavy scratches or dings; there is a small discoloration on the left barrels near the receiver consistent with a solvent run; case color on the receiver is very good; Wood is also very good to excellent with sharp fine checkering and minimal marks; there is a small dent in the checkering on the right grip.The action remains tight, the lever sets right of center and action screws are timed. A well-balanced shotgun made in East Germany.
