Description:
For the Colt 1911 shooter. Very nice combo: Colt MK IV Series 70 45 ACP, in Combat configuration (Wilson) and an early post WWII Colt 22 Ace conversion unit. The 45 slide is in the blue/black metal finish 90% and the frame is SS satin. Serial #55230B70. Handling wear but no pitting or scratches, National Match barrel, shiny bore. Mechanically the 45 is excellent and very accurate. Wood grips are fine. Three mags included. The Ace is 98% original blue and appears to have been seldom used. The Colt 22 magazine is not original to the unit. 2 extractors. The Ace has been properly fitted to the MK IV frame and functions fine. I understand that the rear part of the 22 barrel needs to be keep clean and only top quality ammo is to be used. Please ask questions. Estate sale; no returns. Must ship to an FFL.
