#553194, A Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Barreled Action Custom Bolt Rifle in 375 H&H, The barreled action made by Winchester in 1962 in 375 H&H, 25" factory barrel with their integral front ramp with a sight protector, The correct Winchester No. 70B "Roll-Over" sporting rear sight, Quick detachable EAW pivot mounts, Schmidt & Bender 1.5 - 6 x 42 Zenith with their FlashDot, Clover leaf shaped rear tang, Barrel band swivel, Blackburn straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, Two panel teardrop bolt knob checkering, Checkered & built up bolt stop release, The metal work was done by J Earl Bridges, Factory Model 70 wing safety, A pure Custom Classic stock, A nice piece of English Walnut with nice color and contrast, Wrap around classic point pattern checkering, Shadowline cheekpiece, Jerry Fisher steel grip cap, Two screw tiedown rear sling eye, Ebony forend tip, Cross bolt at the recoil lug, This gun was stocked by Elton Youngblood under the tutelage of Bill Rinie at Champlin Firearms, 13 5/8" LOP over a 1" pad, 11 lbs. with the scope & 9 lbs. 6 oz. without, The bore is excellent plus, The blue remains at 92%, The stock finish is at 93-94%, The checkering is at 99%. It has nice workmanship along with the classic lines of what an American classic styled bolt rifle is all about. The gun is $5600 and with the scope it is $6950.
