PRE WW1 EDWARD VII INFANTRY OFFICER’S SCORD AND SCABBARD. 41” o/a with 35 ½” highly polished and etched blade with the cypher of King Edward VII. Nickel plated steel hilt with original shark skin grip wrap and triple braided wire. Original silver knotted portapee. Nickel plated steel scabbard. Superb condition with all the plating and polish on the blade. Near mint overall. Nice “P/PROVED/STAR” guild proof on the ricasso. Even has the original buff washer. Superior example.
