Description:
Serial #93101, .38 Long Colt, 4 1/2” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is an 1898 manufactured, commercial model revolver that has retained 95-97% of the original bright blue finish with some silvering at the muzzle, scattered spots of plum-brown freckling, and a very mild turn-ring around the cylinder. The hammer and trigger have most of their original vivid fire blue remaining, as well as minor freckling along the sides of the hammer spur. The checkered hard rubber grips with Colt “daisy” roundels are also in excellent shape with only a few very minor handling marks and some very light flattening to the points. The action lock-up and timing are still firm and sound. This is an excellent, antique swing-out Colt that has lots of original condition remaining and would make a great addition to any collection.
