This is one scarce puppy. Total production of the gun was 9300 with 1290 going to the public. The Royal Navy took approximately. 8010. This one is even rarer as it is Navy marked on the slide and also Royal Marines stamped on the grip. The condition is not magnificent, but really very good. What it lacks in condition it makes up for in rarity. The gun has about 85% of the original factory blue. There is the usual muzzle and sharp edge silvering with several small areas of pin pricks and surface flaking, nothing really detrimental to its impressive size and interesting looks. All numbered parts match. The grip panels have no splits, chips or flattened points. The feed ramp and bolt face show little, if any use. The bore is super bright with razor sharp rifling. This too shows very little, if any use. The gun comes with one correct .455 magazine. Just think, when was the last time you saw one of these big fellows, let alone with Royal Marine markings..... $3595.
